What the heck is a “no-note”, and why would I care?
Let me pose a question to you: Have you ever received a call from a customer asking about their order?
The likely answer is yes. And when they call, what do you do?
The likely answer will be something along the lines of “I add a note to the order in my Order Manager.”
Now let me pose another question: Have you ever received a call from a POTENTIAL customer. One that has no order in your system?
Now what do you do?
The likely answer will be something along the lines of “I jot the information down.” or maybe “I email it to myself.”

Do you see, now that you read the question – how silly the answer is? I mean, unless you have a full blown CRM system (ie., another monthly fee), your kinda stuck… but you are running a business – you need something better.

- Accounting needs info from shipping as to why they used so many boxes last week – enter the note info, and send it to Shipping. When shipping responds, they send it back.
- Finished with that note? Archive it. Not deleted, not in the trash can… saved and out of sight.
